What We Will Need

A List of Your Online Services that Send Email From Your Domain

It’s vital that you tell us about every service that you use that sends email from your domain. From your email provider, to your project management tool, help desk, or website. We want to get it right first time, so this list is critical.

Access to your web or DNS hosting

The changes we need to make are to what is called the DNS. This is the system that turns friendly domain names (like meppy.com) into IP addresses and also holds information on where to deliver email to, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that we need to create or modify.

For most people this service is with their web host provider, for some it’s a separate service, and for others it’s provided by their domain name registrar. We will help work this out with you, so that you can provide us with the correct details. We have decades of experience in setting up and working with web, DNS and domain name hosting. So you don’t need to worry about us breaking anything. In fact we may even point out things that need fixing to you while we are there.

Access to your CRM or Email Marketing app

So that we can obtain the DKIM records for your app, and configure your email marketing or CRM app correctly, we will need admin access to your Keap/ActiveCampaign/Mailchimp/Constant Contact/Hubspot/Campaign Monitor, etc. (We are Keap/Infusionsoft Certified so you can add us without using up one of your user licences). Or we can work with you to get the DKIM record enabled and the details from you.

Admin Access to your Email Service

So that we can make sure your emails sent from your mail service are being authenticated, we may need access to your email provider control panel (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, CPanel, etc). We have a lot of experience working with these services (including setting them up for customers) but we can also work with your IT provider to get this part done.
